這次展覽將呈現身歷其境的裝置作品,探索影像的動態轉換。這也標誌著我們計劃中向藝術家朋友致敬的一系列展覽的開端。我們的視角是將展覽空間與每一件藝術品視為一種「裝置」(dispositif),一種開啟通往其他空間的催化劑,從而從不同的角度重新解讀影像的可讀性。展覽的核心在於發掘各種詮釋框架如何交織,並檢視材料、影像和佈置如何在轉變中倍增甚至相互衝突,鼓勵觀眾提出他們獨特的解讀。
我們將此視為超越傳統畫廊的一步,走向更類似於工作坊的形式。在某種意義上,這或許也是在逐步脫離傳統藝術空間的探索,但仍保留藝術視角——這是一種與藝術本質相關的形上學視角。儘管這個理念並非全新,卻是一個讓更多詮釋空間敞開的邀請,避免過度解釋,並讓作品在其複雜性中自然展開
This exhibition will present immersive installations that explore the dynamics of imagery. It also marks the start of a series within our program, paying homage to artist friends. Our approach is to view the exhibition space and each artwork as a dispositif—a catalyst that opens pathways to other spaces, reframing the legibility of images from alternative perspectives. At its core, the exhibition seeks to discover how various interpretive frameworks intersect, examining how materials, images, and arrangements shift, multiply, and even conflict, inviting the viewer's unique interpretations.
We envision this as a step beyond the traditional gallery, moving towards something more akin to a workshop. In some sense, perhaps even stepping away from the conventional art space entirely, yet with art as our lens—a view that retains a kind of metaphysical quality intrinsic to art itself. While this concept is by no means new, it’s an invitation to leave more open to interpretation, resisting over-explanation and allowing the works themselves to unfold in their complexity
