Samuel Ferstl，生於1991年，居住並就讀於台北。在2020年從杜塞爾多夫藝術學院畢業後，Ferstl於2021年與Andrea Buettner一同獲得了他的Meisterschueler資格。作為一位涉足多種媒體的藝術家，他積極參與基於研究的後概念作品，這也是他目前正在攻讀藝術史、批評與策展研究碩士學位的原因。
擁有豐富的行為藝術和平面工作坊經驗，同時也是一位音樂家，Ferstl的目標是將藝術呈現為基於理性的追求魔法，一種與智力相關的魔法，一種“生命的偶發性歡迎純粹沉浸的時刻”。
Samuel Ferstl, born in 1991, lives and studies in Taipei. After graduating from Kunstakademie Duesseldorf in 2020, Ferstl received his Meisterschueler in 2021 with Andrea Buettner. Working in a variety of media, he is actively engaged in research-based, post-conceptual works, a reason why he currently extends his education with MA Art history, Critical and Curatorial Studies.
Having extensive experience in Performance Art and graphical workshops, Ferstl, also musician, aims to convey art as a rational-based strive for magic, a magic with and of the intellect, a “moments when contingencies of life welcome sheer immersion.”
